Erin is a Planting Manager with Friends of the Urban Forest, a local environmental non-profit geared towards increasing San Francisco’s urban canopy cover. In this role she manages their replacement and community tree planting programs, and engages with community members in increasing local environmental stewardship. Prior to this position, she has spent time at a variety of other Bay Area environmental non-profits and agencies, such as the San Francisco Department of the Environment & the SF Bay Chapter of the Sierra Club, working on projects from data analysis to assist in open space management to campaigning for local pro-environmental candidates and ballot measures.
Erin comes to SFWPC as a San Francisco native with the interest in increasing the diverse voices of women found within the city.
Erin holds a BS in Ecology & Environmental Biology from the University of Rochester.
