Established in 2002, SFWPC is the largest women’s group in San Francisco. As a member of SFWPC you’re invited to participate in all activities of the organizations – programs, trainings, discussions and our excellent parties.
Membership dues supports all of the organizations work including: sending out the only women’s slate card in San Francisco, supporting the Women’s Policy Summit and promoting and hosting events. Only members in good standing who have attended at least three (3) events within one year can vote in the SFWPC endorsement process. The event when endorsement voting occurs does not count as one of the 3 events; however, it will count towards the next voting eligibility.

There are three easy ways to join SFWPC:
- Join online. Email this form (DOC) to membership@sfwpc.org and pay either by providing your credit card information in the space available or pay online via ActBlue (Regular membership: $35; Senior/student membership: $15)
- Join at an event. Just bring a check or credit card and fill out an application.
- Mail it in. Mail this form (PDF) and a check made out to “SFWPC” to:

Get involved! Join a committee!
In addition to all the amazing activities of the organization, members can participate in our extensive Committee Program. Our current committees are: Programs, Endorsements, Fundraising and Policy. Each committee generally meets once a month for two to three hours and actively participates in the organization. Anyone can join a committee as long as they are a member in good standing. (NOTE: The Endorsements Committee has a more rigorous schedule and members attended three events prior to the first meeting to be eligible to serve.)
