Kate currently serves as Manager of Communications and Public Affairs for AT&T California. Kate brings over twelve years of policy development and political experience, having spent six years as a legislative director in the State Assembly and six years in political consulting, PR, and public affairs. Kate has worked on legislation to protect domestic violence victims, protect children in custody disputes, and mandate insurance coverage for maternity services. She began her work to empower women as an intern at the National Organization for Women in Washington, DC, where she helped organized the 2004 March for Women’s Lives. She holds a BA in political science from the University of California, Davis.
